Another week, another topic. I've added my entry below, took about 30 mins? Remember, it's not about how good you draw, it's how long and how consistent you work at it.

Will we see 30 waterfall entries by wednesday? I sure wish so!

Topic 02: Flowers

Started with less than a bang, but nvm, keep going guys. The whole idea here is to increase your visual vocabulary. We need to draw all sorts of things to let our fingers (and mind) remember them, so that later with these details, we can combine and create. For example, I want to draw a mechanical flower. So I need to have an idea of how a real flower looks, and how a mechanical equipment looks, before I can combine the qualities and details of both.

So yes, xinran, I know u guys are working ur asses off. Maybe next time when you guys have a meeting, before it starts, take 15 mins off, close your eyes and say a collective curse to me, then draw the topic of the day.

Same thing, draw flowers den post it up. Topic will be on all the way till sunday. And then i'll get u guys to come up with subsequent topics. Hope to see pple posting everyday!

Just finished the 4 scenerios and the one peak. Din do new rocks coz too bz. Did story boarding today. Andy did 10 pages, I did 10 pages, and Denis designed more than 6 monsters. Did Character profiling for the 3 main characters and designed them. Decided on location shots. Denis will be doing the specific locations. Chapter one is half finished. Chapter 2 is also half finished. (panels and board onli...)

Timed myself to just use 15 mins for this quick sketch (and 10 mins to take a pic and post this). From now on, will be posting a pic a day, so pls feel free to join in.

I'm not expecting a complete drawing in 2 days. Not now, anyway. But please spend minimium 30mins on drawing, and see what you can come up with.

Remind yourself why you started drawing: For the fun of it. So please enjoy the process, use it to destress, let your pencil wander around the paper, and the rest will fall in place.

Whether it actually means anything is anybody's guess. The appearance of this blog means u need to start working.
